Slaughter Between Eighth and Sixth Avenues

After seeing a matinee of premieres at American Ballet Theatre and the evening “Tribute to Broadway” program at New York City Ballet, I assumed I’d had my fill of dance. Apparently not: On the L train heading home, I was joined by a male stripper in heels, who wowed fellow passengers with an agile pole dance. It was oddly fitting, since I’d just seen Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, a Balanchine gangster ballet featuring Maria Kowroski as a slinky “striptease girl.”

Her heels had nothing on this guy’s, though. Eat your heart out, Kowroski.

Hey there! The music is from “Get It Get It,” which is track 7 of the new Girl Talk album. We’re in the process of making a full-length music film. to the album album All Day, which you can download for free off illegalart.net, Girl Talk’s record label.

      Cheers!
